Vienna To Get Digital Signage On Its Tram Network

Austrian digital signage integrator, Infoscreen, has announced that over the next 5 years it is to roll out 1000 screens across Vienna's tram network.

The company, which already has digital signage networks on the buses and subways of Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck and Klagenfurt is currently piloting its new tram network. The model sees 5 x 17" screens installed in the tram carriages. Stage 1 of the plan is to hit 100 trams by 2010.
